The PPA kicked off 2026 with the PPA Masters in Rancho Mirage, CA, and Anna Leigh Waters reminded everyone why she remains the player to beat, securing a historic 40th career triple crown. Waters and her mixed doubles partner, Ben Johns, were pushed to a thrilling five-game showdown but ultimately claimed gold over Anna Bright and Hayden Patriquin.
On the men’s side, Christopher Haworth captured the singles title, defeating top seeds on his way to the championship match. In men’s doubles, the formidable duo of Ben Johns and Gabriel Tardio cruised to gold, further cementing their reputation as one of the tour’s standout pairings.
