Hit a Dink That Moves Your Opponent

Quick Tips Pickle4 Team 10-08-2026

A dink doesn’t have to be a winner to be effective. One of the best ways to create an opportunity is to use your dink to move your opponent out of position.

Try placing your dink toward the outside of your opponent’s court rather than repeatedly hitting toward the middle. Moving your opponent toward the sideline can create more space in the middle for your next shot.

Once your opponent is pulled away from their ideal position, look for the next ball you can attack or use to change direction. The goal is to make your opponent move while you stay balanced and ready for what comes next.

Remember, move them first. Attack second.
