Organizer Insight: Small Touches, Big Impact

Quick Tips Pickle4 Team 09-16-2026

The little things can make all the difference in a player’s tournament experience.

Anticipate small touches that make the day easier for players: hang small bags on the fence for phones during match play, provide a charging station, and keep sunscreen, bug spray, and basic first-aid supplies on hand. Offer water refill stations and options to help players stay hydrated on hot days. Clear court signage, shaded seating, and easy-to-find tournament information can also eliminate small frustrations.

These details don’t have to be expensive. Walk through tournament day from the player’s perspective, look for small inconveniences you can eliminate, and find simple ways to elevate the experience before players ever have to ask.
